Nature: The Outside and The Within invites you to explore the profound dialogue between the physical world we inhabit and the emotional worlds we carry inside us. Bringing together the distinct visions of New England artists Betsy Holmes and Anne-Marie Delaunay-Danizio, this exhibition bridges the tangible grandeur of our environment with the quiet, internal landscapes of human memory and emotion.

In this visual conversation, Betsy Holmes beautifully captures "The Outside." Working plein air, Holmes uses rich oil pigments to document the raw textures, light, and shifting seasons of the natural world—from the rugged edges of river rocks to the quiet paths of deep winter snow. Conversely, Anne-Marie Delaunay-Danizio turns the lens toward "The Within." Her vibrant, layered abstract paintings and mixed-media works translate internal rhythms, emotions, and the cycle of life into organic forms. Together, their pieces remind us that nature is not merely a place we visit, but a deeply personal mirror to the human soul.
